Specialty machine shop created to service the Wire EDM needs of tool and die, mold, metal fabricating and precision machining companies.
Our current Wire EDM machines allow us to machine cut sizes up to 25.6"W x 15.7"D x 16"H. We use .012" brass wire, but have capabilities to use as small as .004" wire. We can accommodate larger parts as well.
Jim Ditman started Wirecut in June 1986 working by himself with one WEDM machine on Indianapolis’ east side.
In 1996, Wirecut expanded to it’s current 5,400 s.f. building in the Commerce Square Business Park near I-65 and Southport Road on Indianapolis’ south side. Our modern facility is climate controlled, making it an ideal workplace for employees to machine quality parts.
